Hey everyone! It’s Lisa Favre and I’m thrilled to announce: we recently welcomed our second baby boy to our family. Our hearts are full of love! Being a mom of two has been very busy, to say the least – but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Moms and dads, listen up! Parenting is not easy. As a parent, our schedules are jam-packed, and we face challenges and obstacles constantly. Parenting is non-stop and often very tiring – but at the end of the day, it is all so rewardin

As a mom of two, I have come up with some shortcuts to help with my day-to-day because, you know what? Shortcuts are okay to take. No one is perfect, and I’m a firm believer that as parents, we need to show ourselves grace more often.

Here are some shortcuts that I have taken – and no mom-shame about it!

My toddler is a very picky eater. With picky eating comes the hesitation in trying new food. One day, I was really craving French toast and somehow, my toddler absolutely refused. At first, I was befuddled: what kid didn’t appreciate a delicious serving of French toast?

Then, I took my “mom shortcut:” my son adores chocolate hazelnut spread. I decided to cut his French toast in bite-sized pieces and let him dip it in as much chocolate hazelnut spread as he wanted. Guess what? He went for it and now, he asks for French toast every week. Sure, it took a bit of negotiation, but I’m proud that he tried something new.

Meal Introductions for a Picky Toddler
