There’s nothing like a refreshing and delicious drink to start off a well-deserved and relaxing afternoon. We love that our smoothie cubes are versatile and easy to revamp for any occasion, anytime! Our smoothie mixes are always a huge hit within the community, so we decided to venture out even further by adding fresh fruits and trying out new liquid favourites with our cubes. We have some new and exciting recipes for you to try that will hopefully please the entire family!

Who said dessert couldn’t be healthy? Give in to your cravings by trying our four new easy smoothie mixes that will leave you wanting more and feeling healthy the next day!

1. The Dependable Tropical Twist

– 1 Passion Mango wheel
– ½ cup of passion fruit juice (pineapple, papaya, guava, passion fruits, etc.)
– Topping (optional): passion fruit

2. The Head-Turning Coco-Saphir

– 1 Saphir wheel
– ½ cup of coconut water
– Topping (optional): shredded coconut

3. The Crowd-Pleaser: Blueberry Pie

– 1 Blueberry Haskap wheel
– ⅓ cup of blueberries (fresh or frozen)
– ½ cup of maple water
– Toppings (optional): blueberries and maple flakes

4. The Irresistible Creamsicle

– 1 Orange Peach wheel 
– ½ cup of vanilla oat milk OR ½ cup of orange juice
– Topping (optional): 1-2 scoops of vegan vanilla ice-cream when serving

Summer is finally here and I don’t know about you, but the heat makes me want to spend all my time outside! To accompany your sunbathing sessions, I’d like to suggest a simple mocktail (alcohol-free cocktail) recipe featuring Evive’s delicious Touk-Touk smoothie.

Mocktails are perfect for those warm summer days since they pack all the satisfying flavours of a cocktail, but, since they’re alcohol-free, they don’t give you any headaches! You can knock down a couple of these drinks all day without a problem!

To accompany the tropical flavours of the Touk-Touk smoothie, I decided to add a touch of acidity with fresh lime juice and passion fruit syrup. If you don’t have syrup, you can replace it with passion fruit and 1 tsp. organic cane sugar.

Obviously, to go from a smoothie to a mocktail, you have to work on the texture a little bit! By following all the steps carefully, you should get a juicy, sparkling drink that won’t have anything to do with your breakfast. 😉

INGREDIENTS:

for 3-4 servings

-1 Touk-Touk wheel
-½ cup of filtered water
-1 oz fresh lime juice
-1 oz passion fruit syrup
-Sparkling water
-Garnish: Coconut chips

STEPS:

  1. In a blender, add the Touk-Touk cubes and then pour the filtered water, lime juice and passion fruit syrup.
  2. Mix until a homogeneous texture is obtained.
  3. Pour the mixture into a glass approximately up to a quarter.
  4. Fill the glass with ice.
  5. Extend with sparkling water until ¾ then mix with a spoon.
  6. Fill the glass with sparkling water
  7. Garnish with the coconut chips.
