Vegan yogurt is one of my favorite desserts, and so I was tempted to try and mix it with one of Evive’s smoothie flavors, the Asana. And since the result was so delicious, I told myself I couldn’t just keep it for myself and had to share it!

 

Yummy vegan yogurt parfait & acai berry recipe
Approx. 2 servings


Ingredients

Preparation

  1. Place the vegan yogurt at the bottom of a glass
  2. Let the smoothie wheels defrost at room temperature in a bowl for 20 minutes
  3. Crush and mix the cubes with the help of a fork in a bowl
  4. Add the pureed Asana smoothie into the glass
  5. Garnish with your favorite homemade granola. Here’s our pick!! Enjoy!

Have you ever considered reducing the amount of meat you eat and substituting protein-rich legumes such as beans and lentils? These plant-based foods may not be top of mind when you think about protein, but they are excellent sources of this essential nutrient, and contain less fat and fewer calories.
 
Consider swapping beef, chicken and even milk or eggs for foods like chickpeas, black beans, peas, almonds and pumpkin seeds. Vegetarian proteins may reduce your risk of heart disease by helping you maintain healthy cholesterol levels and lowering your blood pressure. In addition, studies have shown that plant-based foods may cut your risk for Type 2 diabetes and obesity, and their high-fibre content helps keep you regular – a plus for both digestive and general health.
 
Eating less animal protein shouldn’t mean switching to store-bought highly processed faux meat like veggie burgers and veggie dogs, which are loaded with salt and hard-to-pronounce ingredients. Eliminating meat just one a day a week from your diet offers more than just health benefits: it’s good for the environment, and meatless meals usually cost less.
 
More than fourty-four countries now promote ‘Meatless Mondays,’ an international movement that encourages people to reduce their meat consumption. So why not jump on the bandwagon? Consider making curry chickpeas instead of chicken curry or prepare burgers using brown rice and mushrooms instead of ground beef. Top your salads with toasted sunflower seeds instead of bacon bits. The options are endless. You will thrive with less meat in your diet as long as you choose whole, real foods that nourish your body, mind and soul.

Lately, you’ve discovered a recipe for muffins with Evive smoothies cubes. It’s apple season, so why not make a delicious cookie recipe with our cubes this time? Fall is the perfect time to share a healthy snack with your family and to warm up your heart after a good apple harvest.

 
Molasses cookies, with apples and smoothie cubes Pure
Recipe for 12-15 cookies

 

eviveINGREDIENTS

Dry ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 whole flour*
  • 1/4 cup oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt * Can be replaced by more all-purpose flour
 
Moist mix
  • One  Pure Evive smoothie wheel
  • 1/2 cup cane sugar
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil / canola
  • 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of apples in small cubes

 

 

STEPS 

  1. Unmould 8 PURE smoothie cubes and let it melt in a bowl.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350F. Cover your baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  4. In a second bowl, whisk together the sugar, the oil, the molasses, the vanilla extract and the thawed Pure cubes. Add the apples to the mixture.
  5. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients and mix with a wooden spoon.
  6. Using an ice cream scoop, take balls of dough and place them on the baking sheet, spacing them approximately 5 cm apart.
  7. Bake 15 to 18 minutes, depending on the intensity of your oven.
  8. Transfer the cookies to a rack to cool down, then store them in an airtight container.ENJOY!

 

 

It’s ready! You can enjoy and even start over the recipe with different flavours of Evive smoothies cubes. **A little advice, to keep the cookies, put them in an airtight container.

Although Evive smoothies are perfect for busy mornings, it always feels good to take care of yourself in the morning with pancakes. What could be better than a recipe for vegan pancake, ready with only 7 ingredients in 15 minutes?

I revisited my usual pancake recipe by adding Veggemo vegetable milk and an Evive Yogi smoothie wheel. The idea of adding a little “greens” to a tasty breakfast pleased me, but the result is even more pleasing to me! It doesn’t taste like vegetables and the colour is beautiful.

 

Ingredients 

 

    • 1 Evive Yogi wheel

 

    • 1 ¼ of flour (or
      whole grain/whole wheat if desired)

 

    • 2 tablespoons coconut (or cane) sugar

 

      • 1 tablespoon baking powder
        a pinch of salt

     

      •  1 tablespoon vegetable oil

     

    •  1 cup of no sugar added Veggemo milk

 

 

Evive pancakeThe steps

1 . Unmould the Yogi wheel and let the cubes melt in a bowl.

2 . In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3 . Crush the melted Yogi cubes with a fork to purée them. Add the oil and Veggemo milk. Mix well.

4 . Stir in wet ingredients to dry ingredients, but do not overmix pancakes mixture.

5 . Preheat your stove (preferably non-stick) to medium heat for a few minutes, then lower your heat slightly, oil your stove and cook your pancakes. When bubbles begin to appear and the edges are slightly golden, turn your pancake over, about 2-3 minutes on each side.

Why make your Pancake with Veggemo? Because they are different vegetable milks, they are nuts-free, soy-free, gluten-free and have a very rich and creamy texture. If you want to use them for other recipes they share them on Facebook and Instagram.

We love adding them to our smoothies bowls, but after testing this recipe for pancakes, you will certainly be delighted!

Decadent coffee with Azteque smoothie

 

Ingredients

 

● 1/2 cup Faro coffee

 

● 1 Azteque smoothie washer

 

● 1/2 cup vegetable milk

 


Steps

1 . Prepare your coffee and let it cool slightly.

2 . Mix everything in a blender with the Azteque smoothie cubes

3 . Serve in a glass and garnish with coconut whipped cream and cocoa powder if desired!
